Sleepless Hills
Standing upon the Sleepless Hills
I've lost my way from the road,
Wander among the Sleepless Hills
Through the dusk my lantern glowed.
On my way south to Coast Haven
Upon the long Eastern Mare,
I camped aside the darkened road
Horse and wagon also there.
A misty night with tainted wind
On which was heard a sound:
Long and low a crooning breeze
Came over the rising ground.
On Sleepless Hills I fell asleep
In shade of the leaning knoll.
And hence upon the Sleepless Hills
There went my wayward soul.
